Nina Savelle-Rocklin, Psy.D. is a psychoanalyst and internationally-recognized expert in weight, food and body image issues, appearing in the Los Angeles Times, Prevention, Real Simple, Huffington Post and many other publications. She is a frequent guest expert and has spoken at numerous summits and events, including the prestigious National Meeting of the American Psychoanalytic Association.

Dr. Nina’s personal experience with problem eating gives her a unique understanding of what it’s like to struggle with this issue. She transformed her relationship to food and she helps others do the same. She brings a fresh perspective to the treatment of eating problems, helping people understand “why” they turn to food instead of focusing on what they’re eating.
